These lovely sandy bays with turquoise water are just a short walk from Sgiath House.
In the other direction a 15-20 minute stroll takes you to the village, where you will find places to eat, a Marina with cafe and boat trips, railway station, general store, café and lively pub and good food at the Arisaig Hotel. There is also the Land, Sea and Island Centre, a fascinating local heritage and information centre with a shop selling all sorts of interesting books, cards and gifts. Sea kayaking and pony trekking can be arranged in advance. And yes, there's even a 9-hole golf course!
