Walk, eat, sail, golf, kayak, swim, read, play, dream ........
Relax
Everyone's idea of relaxing is a little bit different, but there's plenty of choice here, with cafés, bars and restaurants, endless sandy beaches and rocky coves, live music, local heritage centres and nature in abundance. Find a nook and read a book or some local history. Meet the locals.
Get active
Explore the beaches, get up into the hills, take a boat trip, go kayaking, swim in the sea or a loch (sea's warmer!), have a go at archery, get out on your paddleboard, have round of golf, visit the Small Isles and Knoydart, kite-surf, take a ride on the Jacobite steam train, visit the local attractions, find an ancient castle, get lost in the gardens.
EAT, PLAY, RELAX ...
